One thing that differs us from most other offices is that we partner with only Medical Doctor Pediatric Anesthesiologists. Not dentists who are licensed for anesthesia, nor adult anesthesiologists.
Who They Are
They are a dedicated out patient anesthesia group make up of entirely of MD anesthesiologists. Every physician in their group has completed 4 years of medical school followed by extensive anesthesiology residency training. All of their anesthesiologists are Board certified, or eligible, through the American Board of Anesthesiology. Many of their physicians have also completed pediatric anesthesia fellowships and hold subspecialty certifications in pediatric anesthesiology.
Before joining their team, their physicians have spent years (often decades) providing care in hospital operating rooms and intensive care units, mainly Rady Childrens Hospital here in San Diego. They bring that same high level of expertise, training, and hospital standard of protocols to the outpatient setting.
So our team is specialized to do this, so be assured your child will be in good hands.
