Dr. Therese Abely was born and raised in San Jose, California, where she grew up knowing she always wanted to be a dentist for children. When she was a kid, she loved going to the dentist so much she wanted to make it her life goal to help all kids enjoy it as much as she did. Dr. Abely graduated from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in Biology, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, and from NYU Langone-San Diego as a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. Now Dr. Abely is living her dream working hard every day to make sure that all children know the dentist is a place of safety and fun.
In her free time, Dr. Abely loves to engage with the power of the story. She is often found with her nose in a book, or playing the latest video game with her partner. Dr. Abely also loves to go to the beach and travel the world. In fact, one of her lifetime goals is to go to all 50 states before she is 50 years old. Only 14 more to go!
